Poison Ivy

The allergic reaction causes a rash followed by bumps and blisters that itch

Poison ivy dermatitis is a relatively common malady affecting those coming into contact with the plant’s sap. While the contact is typically direct, one may contact it by coming into contact with a pet, which may transfer it from the fur to the individual, or by working with equipment that may residual the rosin. Over 80% of the population is sensitized to the rosin, but reactions vary from mild and inconsequential to widespread and severe. Depending on the severity, over-the-counter products might suffice. However, you may require a visit to a dermatologist to offer treatment and monitor the progress of your improvement.
