Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Patient suffer from squamous cell carcinoma on hand

This type of skin cancer is associated with sun exposure. However, other causative factors may play a role in its development. This type of skin may start as a red scaly spot, or may seem to start as a scaly bump, often on the head, neck, and hand regions. A biopsy is helpful in determining the behavior of the lesion. A prompt visit to your dermatologist will help ascertain the diagnosis.
